On the Element-14 website the following question was asked by Richard.
I am looking for a pirable blue tooth receiver with a n/o switch so I can wright an app so I can open my garage door from my Ifone, Any ideas where I would source such a beast.
Chris Pinter Replied:
When you are making a prototype of a single device it is important to limit your costs so that you can prove the concept. I would recommend looking at a distributor first to obtain a development kit.
Newark has a number of development kits using bluetooth. Here is a link.
I would also take a look at Texas Instruments. I use the bluetooth development kits and they are quite good.
Once you get your prototype working then it should be easier to develop an app.
